Anyone using the below webhost?

April 2nd, 2010 admin

I’m setting up a website for my online retail store and would like to know which webhost would be the best. I’m looking at the following factors :

a. Low cost –> Should not exceed 0 a yr
b. Ads free
c. good tech support
d. No hidden cost/no Spam

I have shortlisted Doteasy.com, Lunarpages, Dot5 Hosting and Go Daddy.

   Don’t host with domain registrars like GoDaddy. They’re good only for domains.

   I would really like to recommend Serverbeach. They have good dedicated servers on offer and give a 99.999% uptime guarantee.

   Don’t go with shared hosting if you’re intending to set up an online store. You don’t want to share your bandwidth with other customers using the same server that your site is hosted on. It is better to get a dedicated server. Its well worth the price.
