Considering creating a website; which is a solid web hosting site?

I have considered creating my own website, just to keep my various data and activities up to date. It is not meant for an business related purposes, purely for entertainment value. Thus free is a possibility, so long as it is reliable enough.

Currently I have heard good things about Hostgater and Bluehost, in addition their is always Freewebs however opinions would be much appreciated.

Web hosting can be a significant expense for anyone. When you are looking for Web hosting online there are so many to choose from that it can be an overwhelming task to try to tone it down to a handful to consider. Did you know that there are some Web hosting providers that cost less than 5 dollars a month and you get the same reliability and customer support (if not better) as the most expensive Web hosting companies? Take a look at http://www.inexpensive-web-hosting.com/

There you will find a guide to finding the best inexpensive Web hosting providers. These Web hosts offer unlimited Web hosting space, unlimited disk transfer, unlimited databases, and the leading control panels with easy Website builders, templates, and they even offer free Google and Yahoo ad credits.

    Good luck,
    Tom

Hostgater is one of the best on the market currently in my opinion including media temple many people like media temple as well that had a some issue a while ago (4 or so years ago) but i think they put the act together to become a strong hosting provider another i could suggest in WestHost but one company i wouldn’t go for hosting with is go daddy, that company to me is just good for registering domain names but i don’t like the hosting over there i see a few complaints about the hosting like the servicing of severs etc.

Well , there is hostgator , google host and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is http://www.networkjuicehosting.com ; Network Juice.

They now offer plans starting around $0.99 for 5GB of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.

They have all features such as Cpanel , Fantastico , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more.

There are other affordable plans as well in Networkjuicehosting.com.

Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor.

Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.

To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.

For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended host is http://www.networkjuicehosting.com .

That’s all I got to say mate ;)

Hi! The prob with most Free Sites is that they will have pop up ads coming up on your site, but if the site is for your own enjoyment then I would recommend Bravenet. They are reliable, friendly, give a good service and have lots of freebies.

I use their professional hosting services for over 7 years now and have no problems at all. You will find them at http://www.bravenet.com

    Hope this helped.

Hostgator and Bluehost are among the best ones, as well as these: http://www.webhostingtable.com/

Powweb has the best offer right now, they have a limited time sale – hosting for $4.88/month ($58.56/year), and you get a free domain (like http://www.yourwebsite.com) from them.

Their hosting plan includes web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.
