where would I upload a layout in my websites directory?

I have a layout that I made and it is ready to be uploaded to the directory of my website but I just don’t know where to put it in the file manager (I am using FatCow.com) I used Website Creator by CM4All (it was offered free when I bought my domain) and I picked a layout from there…it is nice looking but still amateur looking. Anyway I just need to know where to upload this layout.
Maybe I am messing up after I upload it because I have uploaded it to the main and it doesn’t show up
no you can email me on here though right? I am very computer savvy so I am sure if you explained it I could understand it
lol thats okay…yes I asked support a while ago but they said I need to upload it with an FTP client…I downloaded what they recommended which is called Filezilla…it works great but when I upload the file to main it doesn’t show when I view my website
I have already asked support and went through all of the tutorials

Web Hosting and Warez?

If one were place warez on there site, could the web host immediately perceive it and delete your account, or do they have to search for it through there servers?Like for instance the more popular warez sites. I mean how do people place warez on there sites, and not get banned for doing it? Do the web hosts only check the popular sites, or? My idiotic friend wants to create a Warez site using the web host "JustHost" what are the chances of losing her account due to warez and them finding out?

How can I unblock websites on my computer?

My 4 year old appears to have done something to my computer to block all Hostgator sites. Anything that is hosted on Hostgator (including all my own sites) cannot be accessed. I can get into my sites if I use a proxy, but I really don’t want to do that forever! How can I unblock an entire server? I’ve already checked and he didn’t restrict any sites in my Control panel.

what is the difference between just transferring a domain name and hosting?

I need to transfer my domain name from one yahoo to either Godaddy or Justhost. What is the difference between these two? Can I just park a domain until I figure out what I want to do with it? Would Justhost be the best way to do that, or would Godaddy?

Do I need to transfer Domain registrar once host transferred?

I registered a domain name under godaddy, but just got it hosted under bluehost. I know I have the option to transfer the registrar of the domain name from godaddy to bluehost, but is that necessary? What is the difference of who the name is registered under?

I hosted my domain with JustHost (they are HORRIBLE) and changed to hostgator (so far happy), well justHost said they would release my name after 60 days. Well I am trying to register it and when I try it says that it is unavailable. Does that mean someone else got it? There is no whois info or anything. I am kinda freaking out because it is my online store name. I will email JustHost, but they usually take hours to a day to respond. Any help appreciated!
