admin Currently we are utilizing a shared server with Lunarpages but our website and our email seems to have an outage every month. This was also the case with our previous host. My boss is getting very annoyed and so I’m looking for solutions. Going from /year to 0/month for a small website with little traffic and no e-commerce seems a bit extreme. Can anyone make any recommendations? Do you know if I can use a dedicated server as an off site backup for the data on our office server (that might justify the cost)?

If you’r going to choose a reliable dedicated server, take a look at: http://www.goldpuma.com . As an experienced webmaster I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. YES!!! any buisness should have there own dedicated server. The problem if it isnt dedicated is it can be eaisley hacked if you are sharing with someone else whose site is vulnrabile. Well to get back to your question on the email, you make the call do you want your email alawys going out? I dont think any small buisness wants that and yes I would definatley make the upgrade.
