admin I have a domain through godaddy and hosting through fatcow. What are the steps I would need to follow to make it so that when people enter my url in a browser they go to the web page sitting with my host?

1. Find out your web host’s name servers. These are a pair of Internet addresses, e.g., ns1.host.com and ns2.host.com. Usually these can be found in your control panel.
2. Go to your GoDaddy account and edit the name servers. Input the addresses you found in step 1. Wait a few hours while the new addresses propagate, and there you go! You can use your registered domain with your hosting account.
For more information, you may want to read http://buywebspacetoday.com/how-to-buy-a-web-domain/
You need to Host the website,For the Getting the Hosting Plans You can reach here http://www.tucktail.com/ in the also you can get the web hosting plan at low cost.
First, find out what your nameservers are thru Fatcow.
Second, login to your godaddy account. You’ll change them under domains, and then nameservers.
Then you wait. If it’s a new domain name – never been registered it won’t take long to propagate. You could wait anywhere from an hour to 72 hours.
It’s quite easy. First look for domain management in your GoDaddy account. Then change the DNS settings to the following: ns1.fatcow.com and ns2.fatcow.com.
Now go to FatCow control panel. Click add registered domain to account. Type in your domain name. Done!
P. S. You may want to use domain pointing manager to point your domain to a subfolder on your storage.
