Hi, i have a guides on my website to choose the best webhosting company. Check it out as i believe it will help you.
Godaddy is great for installing wordpress. They are easy to use!
Take a look at:
http://www.threehosts.com/blog
There you can reach the three reputable companies that are leaders in the blog/wordpress website hosting industry.
As an experienced webmaster I recommend Bluehost. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.
You can reach reviews about this web hosting provider and its latest DISCOUNT COUPONS at:

Hope this helps.
I recommend one of these http://www.webhostingtable.com
Fatcow has the best offer right now.
Their standard price is $88/year
but they have the 50% sale right now.
Disk space: Unlimited
Bandwidth: Unlimited
A Free domain name
Unlimited domains and subdomains
Price: $44/year
They’re one of the oldest hosting companies, founded 1998, they’re also one of the largest, currently hosting about 500,000 websites.
Their hosting plan includes easy, one click install of Wordpress from their control panel.
in all honesty I would suggest Hostgator. I have over 18 wordpress blogs setup with them that I use for a lot of different topics. (I’m addicted to WP).
They have a nice setup for Wordpress and it’s always updated to work with the newest versions of Wordpress. BlueHost is nice but I have better uptimes and cron jobs with Wordpress through hostgator.

oh and PS… Godaddy for domains, great but for hosting… horrible.
I have used both Hostgator and Bluehost. They are very similar. My preference is BlueHost. My current blog is on Bluehost.
But I have used both and have actually contacted customer service on both and they are both responsive and helpful.
So anyways I would recommend BlueHost.
